RegisteredAgentHub is an independent research and comparison site for people forming a US business. We help founders answer one deceptively tricky question: which registered agent is right for the state where your business is formed?

Luis started RegisteredAgentHub after forming his own LLC in Texas in 2026 and discovering how hard it was to find clear, state-specific answers. He used Bizee to file and manage that company, and now researches how registered-agent rules — and the services that meet them — differ from one state to the next, so other founders don't have to piece it together the way he did. Luis Cornado is the pen name the site's founder writes under; everything published under it — including the Texas LLC and Bizee experience above — is the founder's own, and corrections sent through the contact page reach him directly.

Why this site exists

Most registered-agent and LLC-formation advice online is written as if every state worked the same way. It doesn't. The rules — what address is allowed, whether you can be your own agent, what you file, what it costs, and when it's due — change at the state line. And the registered-agent services that meet those rules vary enormously in price, privacy, and quality.

When Luis formed his own LLC in Texas, he ended up stitching the answer together from a dozen half-accurate blog posts and the state's own website. RegisteredAgentHub exists to be the resource that didn't: clear, state-specific, sourced from official records, and honest about when paying for a service beats doing it yourself.

What we cover

How we work

Every guide starts from primary sources — the Secretary of State or Division of Corporations for the state in question — and is checked against current official fee schedules and statutes. Service comparisons follow a consistent, weighted scoring method so each provider is judged the same way. You can read the full method on our how we review page, the standards behind every page in our editorial policy, and exactly how we stay independent on how we make money.

Our standards at a glance

balance
Independent & reader-funded

We're not owned by any registered-agent or formation company. Affiliate commissions never change our rankings or scores.

account_balance
Sourced from official records

Requirements and fees come from state Secretary of State and Division of Corporations sources, and every page is dated so you can verify.

savings
Honest about doing it yourself

When filing yourself or getting a free EIN from the IRS is the smarter move, we say so — even when it earns us nothing.

An accountable editor

Every page is published under one accountable human editor — the site's founder, writing under the pen name Luis Cornado — and corrections reach him directly.

Independence & funding

RegisteredAgentHub is independently owned and operated by its founder. It is not affiliated with, owned by, or operated by any registered-agent or formation company. The site is free to read and funded by affiliate commissions, which never influence what we recommend — full detail on our how we make money page.

Corrections & contact

Accuracy is the entire point of this site. If you spot a fee, rule, or detail that looks out of date, tell us — we verify it against the official source, fix it quickly, and note significant corrections. Reach the editor through our contact page.
